Foreign Section

Passport : Passport applications may be submitted at Passport Seva Kendra, situated in Bengaluru City, after through verification at PSK, the Personal Particulars Form will be forwarded to District Police Office, Vijyapur by online on the same day. On receiving the Passport Form at Passport Section of DSB the particulars of the individual will be uploaded in Police IT and forwarded to respective Police Station for verification, immediately a message will be sent to the applicant to contact the Police Station. The SHO of the Police Station will visit the spot; verify the records i.e. date of birth, residential proof and other relevant documents, conduct mahazar.

District Crime Branch

District Crime Branch is a specialized investigating agency working under Superintendent of Police. Cases/enquiries of importance referred by the Superintendent of police would be investigated or enquired by this branch. This wing is headed by Police Inspector and assisted Sub-Inspectors of Police. The District Crime Branch investigates and conducts enquiries of matters of prime importance Referred by the Superintendent of police.
